11:30AM HOT DRINKS AND LIGHT LUNCH
Saturday March 4th bring your snowshoes and come join Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation for an Outdoor Adventure at Tin Mountain Conservation Center.
Enjoy a winter nature walk with tracking and winter ecology enthusiasts. On this walk you will follow animal tracks and have fun using some of the clues left by the animals to learn what kinds of animals are living there.
There will be a new Geocache on the property to find. We will have experts on hand to help anyone that is new to this fun hobby
There will be a kids treasure hunt game to help them see all that the Rockwell Sanctuary has to offer.
All of the trails are ready for exploring by snowshoers of all abilities, come on your own and join others or bring your own group and choose your own adventure.
Meet us back at the Nature Learning Center at 11:30 for hot drinks and soup.
This event is by donation, 100% of all funds raised by and for Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation are given back to valley residents fighting cancer. Raised here, stays here.
Participants will need to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear with traction or snowshoes, depending on snow conditions.
Please bring your own snowshoes, a limited number of snowshoes will be available for participants who do not have them on a first come first serve basis.
